Novartis seeking extra office space

Novartis, Europe’s largest drugmaker by revenue, is looking for office space in Dublin and may lease an additional 100,000sq ft (9,300sq m), two people with knowledge of the matter said.

The IDA — the agency that seeks overseas investment — is working with Novartis, said the people, who asked not to be named because the firm has not yet decided whether or not to expand.

A building at Elm Park — about 6km from the centre of Dublin — is one of the properties being considered by the Basel, Switzerland-based firm, one of the people said.
