A glazing manufacturing plant that ceased operations earlier this year after 100 years of production is set to resume work on Sep 10.

Warwick Technology LTD has taken over the site of the former Waters Munster Glass in Churchfield, Co Cork, and is planning on rehiring a large portion of the workforce.

WMG had been involved in the tempering and cutting of glass for private residential, shop, and pub projects, as well as major commercial and industrial projects before closing down on Mar 26 after a last-minute deal to buy the business from the receiver fell through.
