Connacht Gold appoints Eoghan Sweeney to head consumer foods

Connacht Gold has appointed Eoghan Sweeney as general manager of its consumer foods business.

A native of Dromahair, Co Leitrim, Mr Sweeney will lead the co-op’s consumer foods team in further growing the business, in line with the company’s strategic plan.

He brings 18 years of food industry experience to the role. He joined Connacht Gold in 2006 and has held various management roles in consumer foods, including his most recent position of customer services manager.

He graduated from UCD Michael Smurfit Business School in 2011 with a graduate diploma in sales management and strategy.
