Anglo investigations almost complete
The Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE) said yesterday that it had sent three large investigation files to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in the first quarter of this year; following on from the lodging of five “extensive” files last year.
The Anglo investigation has taken up most of the ODCE’s resources in the past couple of years, but, speaking yesterday at the publication of the body’s annual report, outgoing director of corporate enforcement Paul Appleby said that work was now virtually at an end.
