Profit up but revenue falls at Thomond

The company that operates the €40m Thomond Park in Limerick increased its operating profit more than threefold last year to €612,000 in spite of revenues reducing by 5% to €2.65m.

Stadium director John Cantwell said yesterday the company is “very happy with the financial performance as we significantly exceeded our budgeted figures”.

Accounts filed with the Companies Office by Thomond Park Stadium Co Ltd show the company recorded a post-tax loss of €992,000 in the year to the end of June last.
