Pre-tax profits at an aircraft leasing firm controlled by aviation tycoons Ulick and Desmond McEvaddy increased by 25% to €556,667 in 2010, new figures show.

Accounts filed by Shannon-based Omega Aviation Services Ltd show the firm increased its pre-tax profits after its gross profit increased from €2.4m to €3.7m in the 12 months to the end of Dec 2010.

The directors’ report states that “the directors are satisfied with the results for the year”. The company is engaged in the leasing and maintenance of aircraft along with the sale of aircraft and aircraft parts.
