Kenny set to open Wall St trading

Enda Kenny will ring the New York Stock Exchange bell on Mar 19 to open the day’s trading on Wall St.

Once trading has begun, the Taoiseach will attend an Ireland Day 2012 global summit with 200 executives from leading international firms, innovative start-ups, and financial and life sciences organisations.

Some of those attending will be Joe Petrowski, chief executive of Gulf Oil, Scott Whitney, president of Covanta Energy, Wilbur Ross, chief executive of WL Ross & Co, and Denis O’Brien, head of Communicorp.
