Brophy appointed at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School

Former Connacht Gold executive Helen Brophy has joined her alma mater, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, as director of executive education.

This is Ms Brophy’s second significant switch in just over 12 months, having taken up her role as head of consumer foods with Connacht Gold in January 2011. Prior to this, she had been chief executive of the National Dairy Council, a role she had held since 2007.

Her other roles in a fast-moving career include senior roles with Bord Iascaigh Mhara and food company HJ Nolan in Dublin. She also retains her role as a non-executive director of Self-Help Africa.
