THE ISEQ index fell yesterday, down 15.16 points to 3,124.10, as concerns over delays to Greek debt restructuring talks took their toll.

A disorderly Greece debt default could lead to increased fiscal problems for weaker members of the eurozone and dampen the US recovery.

In the financial sector, Bank of Ireland was unchanged at 14.5c. AIB held at 9.4c. Irish Life & Permanent gained 0.6c to 5.4c, while insurance group FBD Holdings added 14c to €7.34.
