‘Nothing to do with me’ mantra is sickening

AS the EU limps from crisis to crisis and our so-called leaders proved themselves to be totally inadequate, even incompetent, two things remain fixed.

The first is our Government’s ability to ignore the elephant in the room that consumes a considerable portion of the budget.

The second is for those individuals at the top of Government and the banks and building societies that have the brass neck to suggest that the crisis has nothing to do with them.
