66% of firms to hold Christmas party

TWO out of three business are to give their workers a Christmas party this year despite companies cutting discretionary spending to keep costs down.

Of those companies not holding a party, 66% say they have no choice but to rein in spending.

The latest Close Business Barometer, a survey that canvasses the views of SME owner managers from a range of sectors on the issues that affect their business, shows that the majority of workers will get a christmas party.
