DEBENHAMS saw revenues at its Irish stores continue to slide this year, but it is planning to open two stores in the coming years.

Revenues at Debenhams Irish operations fell 4% from £150m (€171m) to £144m in the year to September 3, 2011.

The retailer is, however, planning to open two stores in Carlow and Sligo by 2015 as part of a major group expansion.
