A NEW daily deals site is encouraging users to suggest businesses they want discounts from.

Registered members or “ticklers” receive a daily email with discounts for products and services from local businesses, including restaurants, gyms, spas and sporting experiences.

Tickles.ie said that it wants to encourage their members to let them know what businesses they would like to see running a deal and they will then approach that business.

Chief executive of Thomas Crosbie Media Tom Crosbie said: “Our aim is to partner with high quality local businesses and bring deals on their services to a new base of users at massively discounted rates.

“It’s a new generation of marketing which hand in hand with newspapers in the TCH group, including the Irish Examiner, the Evening Echo, Waterford News and Star and 10 other publications will give local business measurable, risk free and instant results, as well as access to a new audience and a great branding opportunity.”

Tickle.ie brand manager Ronan O’Callaghan said there are some great offers for consumers.

“PHSC Fitness studio are offering 10 fitness classes and a nutritional consultation for just €30 reduced from €100, which is a 70% discount.

“Anybody can purchase it by logging onto Tickles.ie and following the simple step by step process. Upcoming deals with hotels for getaways, spas, restaurants and sporting activities mean that anyone can treat themselves with Tickles.ie,” he added.
