Insurance firm to hold jobs fair
Most of the jobs will be based at the company’s headquarters in Park West, Dublin, while 22 will service its new Brussels office.
Allianz Worldwide Care’s Claire Cusack said the scale and urgency of the company’s recruitment requirements warrants hosting their own jobs fair at the Clarion Hotel in the IFSC next Thursday.
“We are inviting anyone interested in joining a leading multinational company to come and see us,” she said. “We will be providing details about the positions available and accepting CVs between the hours of 3pm and 9pm.”
Applications can also be made online via www.allianzworldwidecare.com.
Allianz Worldwide Care specialises in providing international health insurance for employees, individuals and their dependents.
The new positions are in claims, helpline, client services, medical services, credit control, finance, marketing, sales support, account management, project management, actuarial and IT. Many of the roles require multi-language skills.
Ms Cusack said while the company will consider applicants from a range of industry backgrounds, those with insurance/financial services experience, in particular within health, life and disability cover, are desirable. The company previously created 50 jobs in Ireland in July.
Meanwhile, up to 40 jobs will be created across Ireland over the next five years with the expansion of an optician firm.
Opticks Superior Eyecare has opened its second shop, based in Dun Laoghaire, and plans to open a further eight across the country.
The company has been trading for 12 months and has already created six full-time jobs. Its planned expansion represents a €5 million investment.
Speaking at the launch of the new shop, Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said: “Opticks is an expanding, innovative Irish business with many lessons for policymakers and business people alike.”
