SHINAGH Estates Dairy Farm is being provided with over €500,000 in start-up funding by Ulster Bank, to part-finance the setting up of the operation on the outskirts of Bandon, Co Cork.

The project is a collaboration between four West Cork co-ops, Teagasc and Carbery Milk Products that will provide dairy farm families with the necessary skills and technologies to deliver financial return.

Ulster Bank will provide a long-term financing facility, worth €520,000, out of the total capital investment of €780,000, with the four co-ops investing the remaining €260,000 in the ratio of their shareholding.
