Small Business Awards launched

Dublin: The Small Firms Association (SFA) National Small Business Awards 2012 were officially launched by awards patron, Taoiseach Enda Kenny yesterday.

The aim of the awards is to celebrate the achievements of small business in Ireland, and recognise the contribution of the small business sector to the economy.

Mr Kenny said small businesses and entrepreneurs play a “crucial and often underestimated” role in the economy.

Entries to the awards will be accepted until 5.30pm on Friday, 28 October. See www.sfa.ie/awards.
