Glanbia retains trophy for best international cheddar at Nantwich

GLANBIA Ingredients Ballyragget, producer of Kilmeaden and Avonmore cheese, has retained the Fayrefield Trophy for the third year in a row for best international cheddar at the Nantwich International Cheese Show in Britain.

Glanbia also secured three gold medals for mild cheddar cheese and vintage mature cheddar cheeses and two silver medals for red Leicester and white cheddar cheese.

More than 30,000 visitors attended the Nantwich show, which is considered the top cheddar cheese show in the world.
