Trading in Irish shares up as markets regain some recent losses

TRADING in Irish shares finally perked up somewhat yesterday as markets regained some of the value that has been wiped off them in recent days.

Europe’s leading markets managed to reverse further falls in early trading and finish the day up for the first time in a week.

However, continued concern that a fresh downturn in the global economy is close prevented any recovery growing real legs.
