Suppliers offered retail chain access

SUPERQUINN suppliers, hit by the placing of the company in receivership, are to be given an opportunity to supply SuperValu, Centra and DayBreak stores by the Musgrave Group who are the lead contenders to purchase Superquinn.

Musgrave are inviting “small local Irish suppliers to Superquinn who have been impacted by events of the past week” to “discuss possible opportunities to access the Musgrave network”.

Musgrave said it understands both the cashflow challenges and the fears for the sustainability of the businesses impacted by the developments at Superquinn.
