Sales at Shannon-based company exceed €1bn
According to accounts filed by the US-owned Benex Ltd, revenues at the company — which employs only 14 people at its Shannon base — rose 4% or €41 million to €1.059bn to end of September last year.
The figures show pre-tax profits at the company rose 31% from €78.5m to €103.3m. The company based at the Shannon Free Zone is Becton Dickinson’s “regional distribution and logistics platform for Europe” and the directors state that the increase in sales last year was aided by additional sales of flu-related products.
