MUNSTER people are the least financially secure in Ireland while those in Dublin are the most.

In addition, 75% of people have cut back on discretionary spending since the start of the year.

The news comes as figures show Ireland has one of the lowest rates of workplace absenteeism in Western Europe, at 6.4 days per employee each year.
