Irish subsidiary of eBay has losses of €2.7m

AN Irish-based subsidiary of US online giant eBay sustained a pre-tax loss of €2.7 million last year in spite of revenues increasing by 37% to €53.4m.

Accounts just filed to the Companies Office show Shopping Epinions International Ltd pre-tax losses increased from €1.8m to €2.7m to the end of December last.

The company operates a price comparison website, shopping.com and the accounts show the company now has accumulated losses of €47.3m.
