Byrne appointed to IoD position

Dublin: Tom Byrne has this week been appointed to the position of president of the Institute of Directors in Ireland (IoD) and will serve a two-year term. He replaces Ann Riordan who has held the position since June 2009.

Byrne appointed  to IoD position

Mr Byrne, a chartered director and chartered accountant, was elected to the board of the Institute of Directors in Ireland in June 2010. The IoD has also appointed three new members to its board — Myra Garrett, Ita Gibney and Kevin Neary.
