Avolon targets growth markets

Dublin: Avolon — the Irish-owned aircraft leasing company — said it sees the Middle East and Asia as its main growth markets, with both areas representing “significant long-term opportunities”.

Established last year by the founder of executive jet company Jetbird, Domhnall Slattery, the Dublin-headquartered Avolon has leased 26 aircraft to nine airlines in the Middle-East and Asia-Pacific regions since its establishment and is positive about its outlook.
