Independent audit of JNLR’s figures

Dublin: The broadcasting committee which oversees the Joint National Listenership Research is to appoint an independent auditor to review the JNLR’s quarterly figures.

The review follows a number of complaints from different Dublin-based radio stations.

The JNLR research is carried out by IPSOS MRBI on a quarterly basis.

A number of the stations, including some within Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp Group, have expressed concern about the fluctuations in their respective figures over the last year.
