IT is expected that new legislation will result in an increase in the number of start-up enterprises as it will make it easier to run a business.

The bill, which will be the largest piece of legislation in the history of the state when complete, will also make it cheaper to run a business, according to the government.

Under the proposals, a person will be able to start a business without a second director, while small businesses will no longer have to hold a physical agm every year.
