THE firm behind Dublin gaming arcade Dr Quirkey’s Good Time Emporium saw its profit after tax fall from €4.3 million to €1.5m last year.

The directors of the company are former garda Richard Quirke and his wife Ann. Thurles-born Mr Quirke is also behind the proposed Las Vegas-style casino in TwoMileBorris in North Tipperary.

Latest accounts for Dublin Pool & Juke Box Co Limited for the year ended June 30, 2010 also saw gross profits fall from just over €9m to €5.7m.
