SOME 70 jobs will be announced for Cork this morning with the opening of two firms.

Credit risk analysis firm Rockboro Analytics is creating 50 jobs over five years.

It is understood that there was major competition among locations in Europe on where to base the firm but the company chose Cork based in-part on the availability of a talented and committed workforce. It is working with UCC and CIT to source the best graduates for its firm.
