SUPERMARKET chain Aldi is to offer new season Irish spring lamb at its 81 stores from this Sunday, following a trend towards home-produced “own brand” foods on offer in Irish-based grocery outlets.

Packaged under the chain’s own Nature’s Isle label, the Aldi lamb product has been quality assured by Bord Bia.

The lamb range is supplied by Irish Country Meats of Co Wexford and AIBP Cahir of Co Tipperary.
