KERRY Group plc will continue growing and making acquisitions, adding to its reputation as a leading global food company, chief executive Stan McCarthy told the group’s AGM in Tralee, yesterday.

The group, which made two acquisitions costing a total of €25 million earlier this year, has a team constantly looking at further likely acquisitions to expand its portfolio in the food ingredients, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.

Mr McCarthy told 150 shareholders of arrangements with international banks for a five-year, €1 billion credit facility, and it was likely there would be further acquisitions this year
