Energy firms have difficulty recruiting

SOME 81.7% of international energy sector companies cannot find suitable talent for vacant positions according to a survey by global recruitment group SpenglerFox and its Irish partner Grafton Group.

Their energy sector survey shows that 73.8% of companies have grown over the last two years despite the recruitment obstacles. Only 12.3% have had to downsize, despite the global economic downturn.

When questioned about their business forecasts for the coming three years, 83% are planning to expand their workforce, with 13.8% anticipating staying the same and only 1.5% expecting to downsize.
