Emerging food companies achieve listings with key distributor

FOOD service distributor Pallas Foods has taken on stock from emerging food companies who participated in a joint Enterprise Ireland and Bord Bia food business incubation initiative.

Couverture, Sushi King, Paddy’s O’Granola and G’s Gourmet Jam have achieved product listings with Pallas Foods, while discussions are ongoing with others of the 10 food processing firms who engaged in the Supplier Development Programme.

Pallas Foods purchasing manager Eddie Heffernan said: “Over the past six months we have worked with some of the best small and emerging food companies in Ireland, and hopefully giving them a boost in tough economic times. And, as a result, we look forward to introducing innovative new products to the Pallas Foods portfolio.”
