Only two property investments in 2011

Dublin: Property consultants CB Richard Ellis have confirmed there were only two investment transactions completed in the Irish property market in the first quarter of 2011.

consultants directly attributed this to plans by the new Government to retrospectively review rent provisions in existing business leases.

The sale to Google of their Gasworks House and Gordon House premises at Barrow Street in Dublin 4 was the bigger of the investment transactions.
