KBC appoints chief risk officer

Dublin: Cameron Marr has been appointed chief risk officer (CRO) at KBC Bank Ireland.

Mr Marr, who will take up his appointment at the beginning of May, will also be joining KBC’s executive committee and board of directors. He will be responsible for the risk management strategy of the bank covering all types of risk across the institution’s activities.

KBC said Mr Marr’s appointment is in line with the group’s risk management model being implemented throughout all group entities, and is being made with the consent of the Central Bank of Ireland, following his proposal by KBC.
