Hi-tech jobs boost for Galway

Galway: Metal Improvement Company will create 20 high-tech jobs in Galway with up to 30 more planned by 2015.

The manufacturing group provides products and services to the motion control, flow control and material processing industries.

Ben Hayes, British and Ireland regional sales manager for the company, said: “We are excited about our new facility and look forward to working closely with IDA Ireland, Irish Universities and the local business community as we expand our operation.”

Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, John Perry, said Ireland offers a great place from which to do business with its ease of access to the EU, an increasingly competitive environment and a highly skilled and talented workforce.
