Agri-services boosts Origin sales

ORIGIN ENTERPRISES, owners of Masstock and R&H Hall, increased first-half sales by 3% to €613 million.

Sales in its key agri-services division were up 23% to €569m in the first half to end January 2011, a key factor in the strong first-half figures.

Earnings per share (EPS) rose 32% to 11.45 cent from 8.68 cent. The group is not paying an interim dividend.
