Insurance firm to create 100 jobs

Chill.ie is to expand its operations as it marries its traditional brokerage business with its growing online division.

A spokesman for the south Dublin-based company said positions would be available in its insurance, back office and technology wings.

Recruitment for some positions will begin immediately and the rest of the staff will be taken on over the next three years.

Chill Insurance offers consumers 14 or more quotes from all leading insurers, for motor, household, travel, life and other insurance products.

Headquartered in Blackrock, it has 40 years of broker heritage and an online presence since 2007.

Chief operations officer Ann Moylan said the company was at the cutting edge of online insurance.

“We provide a convenient and value-driven service for Irish customers by allowing them to access 14 different quotes from one location in a matter of minutes,” she said.

“Our core business is motor and household but we also provide a number of different insurance products including travel, life, marine, van and bicycles.”
