H&A Marketing acquires media firm
The combined business will eventually employ 48 people with a combined revenue of €5 million. Impact Media will trade as a division of H&A but will keep bases in Galway and Limerick.
H&A chief executive, Brian Healy, said this move creates a new standard of full-service marketing communication agency in Ireland.
“During our initial discussions with Impact Media, it became clear there were obvious synergies between our businesses. The acquisition means H&A now hosts the full range of marketing communications services in Cork, Limerick and Galway, from where our experienced team will deliver client projects to the highest international standards,” he said.
Mr Healy added the acquisition signals the company’s intention to “aggressively grow” its business over the next 18 months, with plans to recruit additional people during that time.
H&A said the acquisition of Impact Media further enhances the organisation’s range of services and establishes a “firm foothold for the company along the Atlantic corridor”.
Founded in Galway in 2003, Impact Media is a marketing company with offices in Galway and Limerick. The company’s managing director, Niall McGarry said this is a very proud day for him.
H&A’s client base includes the Barry Group, Bord Na Mona, GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer. It acquired Cork-based O’Sullivan PR three years ago.
