Five new directors for chamber board

Limerick President of Limerick Chamber Kieran Mac Sweeney announced that five new directors will serve on the Chamber Board in 2011.

Dr Fergal Barry, head of development at LIT and Brian McEnery, partner with Horwath Bastow Charlton, were co-opted to the Chamber board at the end of 2010. They will be joined by Jim Kenny of Tiernan Properties, Gary Rowan of HRA Town Planning Consultants and Karl Daly of Karl Daly Pension and Investment Ltd, who were elected by the members at the Chamber AGM this week.

They will replace retiring directors John Rice, Reg Freake and Colm O’ Donovan. Sean Lally from the Strand Hotel was also re-elected to the board.
