Oil firm pulls out of Mauritania well

TULLOW OIL has abandoned its Gharabi-1 well off the coast of Mauritania.

The Irish-founded exploration company said the decision followed an unsuccessful drilling round at the asset but the result “has no impact” on its future plans in Mauritania.
