TRAFFIC into and out of Ireland’s three main airports plunged more than 10% last month, with Shannon hardest hit.

This news comes as Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary said the airline is “not really an Irish airline anymore” and more European.

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) said the almost 24% drop in traffic into and out of Shannon Airport is a “cause for concern”.
