Wedding bliss comes at a price, reveals survey

ONE in 10 couples surveyed said they splashed out more than €40,000 on their wedding.

The survey also revealed a third of couples spent €30,000 on their big day.

Despite the tough economic conditions just over two in five (42%) couples said their wedding cost around €20,000, with 18% of couples saying their spent less than €10,000 on their big day.
