A DRAGONS’ Den-type event for small firms, which is backed by some of the biggest names in Irish business, takes place tomorrow.

‘Pop-up bank’ to attract small firms

Apprentice boss Bill Cullen and Norah Casey of Dragons’ Den are spearheading the event, which invites businesses to come along and pitch for investment from Ireland’s main banks and agencies.

AIB, Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank will attend, as will agencies such as Enterprise Ireland, First-Step, The Irish Local Development Network, enterprise boards and venture capitalists.
