Slark new CEO at Grafton group

GRAFTON Group has announced that Gavin Slark is to take over as chief executive on July 1. He will succeed Michael Chadwick who has been executive chairman since 1985.

He was previously head of BSS Group, a leading British distributor to specialist trades including the plumbing, heating and construction sectors.

Michael Chadwick will then become non-executive chairman. He had previously advised the board of his intention to retire as an executive on completion of the search for a successor.
