Business dream worth €25,000

BUSINESSPEOPLE are coming together to encourage entrepreneurs to follow their dream and start their own business in a unique competition worth €25,000.

Business owners based in 11 Patrick Street in the city are offering their services, support and experience free to the winning entry in a new Giving A Start competition.

In addition, the owner of the centre, John Ryan, is offering cash, accommodation and business support facilities as part of the winning package — while the Kilkenny local authorities “Invest in Kilkenny” initiative will provide support to the winner, including €1,000 seed money.

The judging panel is made up of entrepreneur, Bobby Kerr, CEO of coffee chain Insomnia, Terry Clune, CEO of Taxback.com, and Paula Fitzsimons, an expert in entrepreneurship.
