FOOD companies executives will be encouraged to complete Enterprise Ireland’s new Leadership 4 Growth programme, launched at the Irish Management Institute in Dublin.

Funded by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, this leadership and strategy programme will enhance the leadership mindset and capability of Irish chief executives and senior managers.

Agriculture Brendan Smith said: “I am delighted both IMD Business School and the IMI are delivering this programme. In order to continue to build on and improve the Irish food industry we need the commitment and investment by the kind of companies participating in the L4G programme.”

The programme is delivered by IMD business school over three residential modules on their campus in Lausanne, Switzerland. IMD are ranked fifth in the world for customised education and are a top class business school.

Enterprise Ireland executive director Julie Sinnamon said: “Export growth will provide the long-term rewards — for the companies, for the sector, and for employment.

“The programme can make a real impact.”
