THE ISEQ index fell a further 22.03 points to end the week at 2,890.67 yesterday.

European stocks ended lower, pressured by a drop on Wall Street after weaker-than-forecast US Q4, 2010 GDP figures and unrest in Egypt left investors nervous.

In the financial sector, AIB dipped 0.5c to 25c. Bank of Ireland was down 0.4c at 32c. Irish Life & Permanent declined 3.8c to 89.3c, while insurance group FBD Holdings added 10c to €6.75.
