Value of mergers and acquisitions falls

EXPERIAN, the global information services company, says the value of mergers and acquisitions in the last quarter fell by 42.7% to €7.5 billion quarter on quarter.

In Q3 deals worth more than €13bn were transacted.

The number of deals rose marginally from 67 to 69 in the last quarter and, despite an inhospitable deal-making environment, overall transaction volumes for the year grew.
