Tech firm Avego to create 35 jobs
The Kinsale-headquartered company, which is a global provider of software and hardware used in the making of passenger transport, is set to announce 35 jobs at its headquarters today, doubling its Kinsale workforce to 70 over the next three years, as it embarks on a major research and development (R&D) investment programme.
Enterprise, Trade and Innovation Minister Batt O’Keeffe — who will formally announce the Enterprise Ireland-supported R&D expansion measures — said that Avego is the kind of “outward-looking, export-driven firm that the Government is anxious to help grow and generate jobs at home”.
