DAA chief to talk on Shannon future

Limerick: Chairman of the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) David Dilger will address the Limerick Chamber Christmas lunch at the Carlton Castletroy Park on Friday.

Mr Dilger is expected to focus on the future of Shannon Airport and outline the role and function of the DAA in relation to the airport.

President of Limerick Chamber Kieran MacSweeney said: “Now is the ideal time to hear from the chairman of the Dublin Airport Authority. There is huge concern in the region about the recent performance of Shannon Airport. As a Limerick man and extremely experienced international businessman, David Dilger understands the strategic importance of Shannon Airport to this region and there is huge interest in hearing what he has to say.”
